How we handle information

When you join the community or register for an event, we receive only the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email, contact details, role interest, professional links, projects, and contribution interests.

Community applications are stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore. The public website can create an application, but cannot read, edit, or delete submitted applications. We use the information to respond to you, coordinate community activities, and manage event participation. We do not request file uploads through the community form.
